I very rarely write reviews but wanted to share my experience with this product to help others. I ordered this product to recoat a shower tray which had some damage. I will start by saying that I am a tradesman. I followed all included instructions to the letter and watched some youtube videos to familiarize myself with the product. The product was kept in a warm environment as instructed next to a radiator. When mixing the first thing that struck me was how thick the mixture was. It was mixed as instructed and a bit more to make absolutely sure. I was impressed with what appeared to be a brilliant white colour, but more on that in a moment. When pouring on a flat surface with little run off i.e. a shower tray be very careful as the thick mixture does NOT self level very well at all. It took some time to apply the mixture with a comb to get an even cover, very difficult I found. The videos show the mixture being poured onto the vertical bath sides which give the impression of a product that flows well. The tray was coated, the door was shut, and the coating allowed to cure. On return the results were very disappointing. There where lots of small pits on the surface, and the brilliant white mixture looked quite yellow against the gloss white wall tiles. Needless to say it was time and money wasted as the finished result was not acceptable to myself as well as my customer. Hope this helps with any future purchase.

We've recently used Ekopel 2K to resurface our cast iron bath. Our bath tub is very old and was rusting and stained before this treatment. It now looks like new. Ekopel was easy to use, but you must follow their instructions and carefully prepare the solution by mixing it manually. It takes a bit of time but the results are worth the effort. There are very helpful videos you can follow. Ekopel customer services are also helpful and can provide additional guidance.

Had to resurface our shower tray and as it was going to be difficult to remove we decided to try Ekopel kit, well worth the time and effort saved us money and it looks like new, can be messy but you just have to be careful and prepare as instructed

Used to completely transform a dark green plastic sink v ugly to a stunning white ... feels like porcelain Sink and draining board Amazing Can’t believe it!! Soo happy. No smell!! Easy to use after watching videos a few times am a complete DIY beginner. Wud definitely do it again !! My bath was discoloured, scratched, and in need of replacement. But with a limited budget to refurbish my bathroom, I thought I'd give this product a go before buying and fitting a complete new bath. The end result was far better than I could have anticipated and a lot less difficult than I thought it would be. Take your time with the preparation, follow the instructions as closely as you can, and your bath will look like new. OK, not quite, and mine isn't perfect, but for the price it's a pretty good alternative to a new bath!

I liked it as long as you do the prep well and get organised with all the gear it's a doddle. I had to take off the old enanel which we had done professionally some years ago that was a ball ache but I did it. Easy to use can get a bit sticky and I did touch the edge by accident but it levelled out very well. Highly recommended

The process was easy and quick, I used the YouTube videos and followed the instructions. I was not quick enough with the edge which was tricky and have some runs down one side because of this but this was my error. Highly recommended the result is really good. Can comment on durability yet but have high hopes.

Followed the various youtube videos. Really pleased with results.
No need to but full kit with acid cleaner and sandpaper.

As per videos, toilet cleaning liquid is the same stuff.

Overall very pleased with result but you must put plenty of work into the preparation.

Das Beste des Besten wer sich keine neue Wanne zulegen will. Nach Austrocknung absolut glatte Oberfläche leicht zu reinigen sehr stabil und sehr leicht zu verarbeiten. Man muss sich allerdings wirklich die Vorarbeit leisten und nach Anleitung arbeiten dann hat man eine wirklich perfekte "neue" Wanne. Es ist sein Geld wirklich wert ich werde es weiterempfehlen.

turned out real nice I didn't want to get rid of my six foot blue cast iron tub I moved it out from the wall four inches and put a PVC flange around it and glass to the roof on the face side with sliding door wide enough for a shower and still a bath put in new drain and moved taps to wall cleans well and looks good all white now make sure tub is at right temp and that coating lays out flat on the floor of the tub its all white and hard to see while your doing it still turned out well
