Ho aspettato 6 mesi per la recensione perché non voglio parlare a caso.
Appena arrivato, il pc già presentava il problema “sfarfallio” dello schermo” ogni tanto, ma ho pensato fosse cosa di poco conto (ho scritto al venditore e mi ha suggerito alcune manovre da fare, ma non ho risolto), ho lasciato perdere perché stavo lavorando per un progetto urgente non potevo perdere tempo a mandare il pc indietro.
Dopo un paio di mesi ha cominciato a non connettersi bene alla rete wifi, ogni volta che il pc andava in standby dovevo riavviarlo per connettermi di nuovo. Stesso discorso, un mese in officina (sono i tempi medi dichiarati su amazon) non potevo permettermelo.

A febbraio il pc muore definitivamente. Vado per accenderlo e non da segni di vita. Il venditore come al solito mi dice di provare a reinstallare il sistema operativo ma il pc è proprio morto.
Devo PER FORZA mandarlo in officina in Francia (da dove arriva), nel frattempo perdo due lavori importanti.
Totale quasi un mese di attesa da quando è morto a quando è tornato.

Hanno solo reinstallato il sistema operativo ok.

Appena lo accendo di nuovo sfarfallio dello schermo, mi viene da piangere.
Dopo 10 giorni comincia a connettersi a tratti.
Dopo due settimane (oggi) non si connette più alla wifi. I dispositivi mobili si connettono, la tv si connette, perciò non è un problema di connessione.
Sono disperata.

Ovviamente non lo rimando in officina perché perderei solo tempo e di conseguenza molti lavori, e sicuramente tornerebbe con altri problemi perché evidentemente il pc ha un problema di suo è andrei avanti finché non scade la garanzia.

Dovrò farlo vedere da qualcuno che pagherò ma probabilmente meno di quanto dovrei rimetterci in guadagno lavorativo.

Comunque 620 euro buttati, per non parlare dei lavori/guadagni che ho già perso e che perderò.

Sono senza parole e nella disperazione totale.

I don’t even know where to begin.

1. It came in FILTHY I mean worse than your 7 year old’s tablet filthy. Visible, thick and disgusting grime all over the device and accessories.

2. The screen won’t even stay up long enough for me to use it. If you move the laptop, it just slams down

3. Half the keys get stuck or literally don’t work. I can tell they’ve been replaced and whoever replaced them did a horrible job!?

4. Amazon renewed is supposed to promise little to no visible damage at arms length… I can see how horrible this damage is across the room. It’s scraped allllll along the edges with deep gashes, scratches all over the front and back like someone scratched all over it with a pen or some sharp tool. Dents all over the base and it even looks like someone tried to pry the back panel off and wasn't successful.

I’ve purchased a lot of renewed and refurbished electronics in my life and this is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had and I’ve been doing this for a verrrrrry long time. This is very pathetic. Quality control is non existent or they are intentionally selling lies. And they have the gall to charge a 50% restocking fee for any returns (that I will absolutely get back from my bank) for their crappy products. And don’t even give you the option to at least replace the item to maybe give them another chance if you wanted. I contacted Amazon and this seller only operates on Wednesdays apparently so who knows when you’ll hear back from them. It’s sad, please do not purchase from them, they should not be allowed to sell on Amazon.

Horrible. The laptop came with a internal cracked screen. I paid $450 for the laptop , I took it to apple it will be $500 to fix the screen. I wanted to return the laptop but only a few days after I had to leave the country for a study abroad with my college. I never got to enjoy having a new laptop as the screen was destroyed from the time I got it.

I ordered a 2017 Macbook pro and not only could I not get it to connect to my home wifi through the WPS function or through entering the correct password, but I also couldn't get the laptop to charge. Not only was it defective in connecting to the internet, it's sole purpose, but it also couldn't live beyond 20 total minutes for me to trouble shoot. I will say Amazon was right in saying that there was no observable blemishes or scratches within however many feet, that just failed to mention the complete lack of functionality in letting whatever company this is send me essentially a giant, $500 paperweight. Thanks!

Update: The spacebar popped off the laptop and because it was purchased as a refurb, it doesn’t qualify for Apple’s repair program as the purchase date for the serial number is listed as 1970-something. Apple knows the keyboards on these models are defunct but don’t take responsibility unless you bought straight from them. So I have no way to fix it because their estimate costs more for them to repair than it would to rebuy the laptop here (which I will not make the mistake of doing again for the reasons I just explained). Do not purchase a refurb anywhere but Apple unless you don’t want to ever be able to get it fixed when it inevitably breaks.

My gaming PC laptop broke so I needed something I could use for my last semester of college, that's what this laptop was. I've wanted a macbook pro for a long time, but it's important to remember there's a lot it can't do. The same goes for PC though retrospectively. I absolutely love how sleek and fast this computer is and organized, it's easy to find things.
Despite being a refurb mine had no dents or scratches or anything like that. It's an old enough model that it was affordable enough but new enough that it doesn't feel like using a dinosaur.

I bought this for my elderly friend who didn't want to spend more than $500 on a new mac. The mac arrived with a shadow outline of a sticker next to the trackpad, which is fair enough for pre owned, but very visible. Screen was fine.

However, upon 10 minutes of use and restarting due to automatic updates, the hard drive failed. I was not able to repair it on recovery mode or see the hard drive as an installation destination when trying to re-install. Guaranteed hardware fault as a former tech guy myself.

Very disappointed and will not be purchasing again. I'd advise you to go to a more reputable site such as back market. Never had an issue there.
