Following on directly from the events of the first book. Tris and his comrades continue trying to solve the mystery of the ancient artifacts. Mostly they spend a lot of time trying to stay alive as everybody is out to get them.

This second book really ramps up the pace and contains some heart stopping moments and a totally unexpected twist.

Fast becoming one of my favourite series.

Again I was privileged to proof read but I've still bought a copy of both this and the first books as I'm definitely reading it again.

I enjoyed this book. It follows directly from the first book so reading the book before this is a must. The story twists and turns, often in an unexpected way that add to the drama of the story. Tristan is such an annoying character, you feel like saying, 'Man up and get on with it' This is proof of a good writer, one who makes characters come alive in such a way that you feel part of the story. The action was good and the characters are strong, add the action and it makes a good read. I am going to buy the third book when it is released.
