Amazing Console, arrived promptly with everything i was expecting & love the Joycons on this.

To all the reviewers expecting to play smash as soon as they got this console.. maybe use your common sense? rather than blame amazon.

Recently decided to buy this since the recent smash game was released and some upcoming games which I'm planning on getting. However there are some things worth mentioning which I will detail below.

If you were planning to get one then I would recommend also buying a screen protector along with it since the dock itself doesn't have much cushioning but this is just in case measure to avoid damaging the switch screen.

Along with this you will also need to buy nintendo online which is about 18 quid a year and comes with free nes games from the eshop though a custom app.

As well as this the smash game itself is in code form, so if you were looking for a physical copy It would have to be brought seperate or if you want to get more bang for your buck buy the Nintendo switch with mario kart for £280 and then buy smash seperately.

You will also need to invest in a micro SD card for online game storage and for this I would recommend 64gb minimum which can be purchased for roughly £20.

Overall I'm happy with the product as well as the design of the decals on both the joy con controllers and the dock. I would recommend this product.

Son has been very happy with this product as he is not confined to playing games on the Xbox which is connected to the TV. He can use it anywhere. He mainly uses it handheld and only occasionally thru the tv. He like the controls and finds the Xbox ones annoying now prefering to buy games on the switch if possible.

ignore angry parents that don't know how technology works; if you want a nice looking switch with cool decals and a DL code for one of, if not the best games on the console, then buy this.. if you are a smash fan and you have £320 to spare ( in uk at least) then you might aswell save up that little bit more and buy this edition, then you get smash instantly if you have the internet and a really nice looking detail on your dock and joycons. as expensive as it seems, i still think the switch is a seriously underpriced product considering the potential it has with the easy handheld/tv modes it has. Highly recommend unless, like i said, you cant work a TV and blame the console. :)
