El cable no era el adecuado, sin adaptador av a Smart tv

La consola llegó en perfecto estado de funcionamiento, el único problema es que el cable de corriente era la versión anglosajona y no la de España, pero por suerte pude encontrar un cable compatible el mismo día, viene con dos mandos, uno de marca Blanca y otro de gamecube original, el mando original se encuentra en peor estado con el botón R que se queda pegado y el botón Z que está muy sucio pero por suerte el falso si funciona perfectamente y pude empezar a jugar en cuanto recibí la gamecube, muy buen servicio pero si no hubiera tenido el cable de corriente en casa y una televisión vieja no habría podido jugar pues tampoco viene con un adaptador av a Smart tv y eso me deja algo descontento con el pedido pues no puedo jugar los juegos de mi infancia en mi Samsung curve 4k

Fantastic - but beware of the unofficial AV cable

Having been an avid console and PC gamer for years, I decided I'd quit with spending hundreds every time a new console came out or to upgrade my PC by getting a console I really enjoyed. I had some initial fears that it wouldn't be able to live up to the hype of nostalgia, but it just does. I don't know why anyone ever bothered making anything after it.

I bought a used for a pretty good price, along with a decent 3rd party controller and an unofficial AV cable. Alongside games, extra controllers and such, I've spent about £150 for almost every game I'd want, with plans to get others in the next few years.

Initially, I thought there may have been something wrong with the console or how my TV coped with the bloom/brightness in certain games (Mario Kart: DD and Metroid Prime 2 but not TimeSplitters 2 nor Resident Evil 4), as any bright colours would seem to 'spill' over and make certain writing and objects impossible to see.

Upon further investigation online, I discovered this was a feature put in by Nintendo such that the brightness was permanently too high for First-party games when using an unofficial AV cable.This is fixed by looking for an official AV cable (at time of writing, not available from anyone on Amazon, but fairly common on eBay for between 4 and 6 quid).

Whilst an annoyance, considering how cheap I got the console and most of the games I wanted for it, this issue was the only reason I didn't award 5 stars.

Well, minor scuffs on the box, not a big deal. Missing some of the covers from the bottom of the box, again, not a deal breaker.
But no power or AV cables. Based on the other reviews/FAQs left here, I was expecting the full set. They might be four year old reviews/FAQs at this point, but you would hope they were still reflective of what you are gonna get.
Buyer beware.

iv had a look at all the other reviews about this console but i really am looking forward to getting this console. i want to get so when i go on a car journey to devon i am then able to play the gamecube in the car on the way there because of the battery packs that you are able to buy.

i feel that this console is very underated and it shouldn't of stopped making games for the gamecube because it looks like a great console. the controllers are very comfterble to hold meaning that you dont start to get blisters on your hand when you want to play the console for a long period of time.

some people are really picky but this is a legendary console which i will probably play more than my ps3 lol

i would highly recomend getting this console.

I was requested by my 15 year old son to buy the purple gamecube....please Mum!
Bought it...wasn't too expensive and the postage and packaging were ok too!...Phew!
It arrived duly after a few days and given to 15 year old....Thanks Mum!
Not a word since...so gather from the silence that it a) works...b) is doing what its supposed to do! Happy Mum!
