Este es el final de un gran legado... es triste ver a MJ en esas condiciones y cómo todo su entorno queda impasible ante lo que era evidente, no estaba bien y a pesar de tener todo el dinero del mundo y toda la fama, nunca en su vida encontró una verdadera ayuda. Pero lo mágico de MJ es que a pesar de las circunstancias, a pesar de cómo se encontraba y a pesar de ser este DVD unos simples y cansados ensayos, podemos apreciar su TALENTO.
Quédate con lo bueno de un genio, esto es una realidad observable, toda la porquería que se echa sobre él ni puede defenderla ni puede demostrarse.
Este DVD no será algo que vea muchas veces a lo largo de mi vida, pero tenía que tenerlo.

Yo no soy muy fan-fan pero me ha gustado mucho porque ves un punto de vista diferente, a parte de disfrutar de la música y el baile imposible de MJ, conoces de primera mano como se gesta un espectáculo de este tipo. Es un video largo dividido en el menú por temáticas diferentes, aunque los ensaños ocupa la mayor parte también puedes ver: como se hace el vestuario, los efectos especiales, la selección de los bailarines, el marketing que envuelve el evento y las voces de las personas que están detrás de todo ello. Interesante documento a buen precio.

En primer lugar decir que el envío por parte de Amazon Uk rápido como siempre. Este bluray es región free, compatible con todos los lectores. El idioma es versión original en inglés, con subtitulos en varios idiomas incluido el español castellano. La calidad de la imagen y el sonido son impecables, lo que nos tiene acostumbrados la marca sony entertainmmet siempre es de calidad. La película es imprescindible para los fans de michael jackson ya que fueron los últimos ensayos, delante del escenario y detrás, muestra el riguroso trabajo del rey del pop a la hora de demostrar su faceta musical. una de las cosas que me gustó fueron los extras el documental sobre el, emotivo la verdad.

Este documental me ha parecido muy completo, a destacar sobre todo la calidad de la imagen y el sonido ya que teniendo un buen equipo de musica y una gran pantalla es espectacular este blu-ray.

El envio ha sido muy rapido como es habitual en Amazon, el idioma es versión original en inglés, con subtitulos en varios idiomas incluido el castellano.

Si eres un fan es una pelicula impresicindible para ver como ha sido su vida en el escenario aunque no muestra la verdadera realidad de su vida y como vivia a diario.

Lo recomiendo muchisimo ademas esta a un precio muy economico.

Michael ha sido, para muchas generaciones el rey del pop, en mi vida, marcó una clara tendencia al gusto musical, y hits como "Thriller" hicieron que se despierte mi pasión por el terror! Michael es la "Voz" Que siempre me transmitirá mensajes de que las personas podemos ser mejores y de que debemos cuidar mucho nuestra tierra. Este documental ES ALUCINANTE! Todo el backstage, los ensayos, los "Remake" en directo que Michael pensaba hacer de sus hits, ya ni hablar de que habían grabado clips nuevos para Thriller y montarlos con la actuación en directo! Que pinta tenia eso!!!! Sin dudas, hubiese sido un gran tour! I Love You MJ!!!!

Recién llegado este Blu-ray, no puedo estar más satisfecho. En estos momentos tiene un precio "irrisorio", pero más barato me costó cuando la adquirí. La relación Calidad/Precio de esta edición es aplastantemente buena.
El disco es edición británica, pero es el mismo disco que la edición editada en España. Menú en castellano, subtítulos en Castellano(no está doblada en ningún sítio, es V.O), etc.
Cómo valores añadidos(que no esperaba), esta edición viene presentada en una funda de cartón, y en el interior hay un libreto con fotografías de This is it, que ignoro si llevará nuestra edición.
Así que ya sabeis. Si quereis tener a Jacko en HD, no os lo penseis y adquirir esta edición a este más que magnífico precio.

Había visto este documental en un canal de televisión y lo encontré a la venta en formato blu-ray a un precio de ganga a través de Amazon y en alemán. Pero, atención, los diálogos son en inglés y los subtítulos en varios idiomas incluido el español (o el inglés para sordos que incluye las letras de las canciones). En definitiva, por cinco euros se puede conseguir esta joya de la música y del entretenimiento.

Había visto esta película documental en el cine y siempre quise disfrutarla de nuevo en casa con un buen equipo de sonido.
por 4,95€ ni me lo he pensado. La película está en versión original subtitulada, así como la versión española. Dado que no tiene mucho sentido doblar al castellano esto.

3D enhanced edition is even better

I'd forgotten how good this was. It's been ten years now since I saw it first in 2D. Yesterday I received the 3D enhanced version and watched it immediately. Viewed on a 120-inch screen with surround sound the 3D enhanced version is truly even better. The overt 3D sections are spectacular, including the zombie and healing the earth marvelous segments. In addition, the entire movie is not just 3D parts pasted in but is 3D just with the non-3D sections at zero depth setting. This means that ALL of the movie is enhanced over 2D only, with the "intervening" regular 1K segments visibly enhanced in both summed 2K detail and colors by having two superimposed zero-depth streams combined. As to the captured performances themselves, the caricature of himself that MJ had transformed himself into is not a distraction as with many aging superstars he still possessed his genius. The 3D enhancement helps to highlight his still-brilliant voice, dance moves, and performance-direction. Bottom line? Those MJ fans that cherish their "This is it" 2D version would be well served to acquire the equipment to view the 3D enhanced edition. The price of having this "dying" technology is alone worth resurrecting not a zombie Michael Jackson but a forever-young vibrant musical genius who steps for a last performance into your living room.

I cannot understand all the negativity regarding this 2 disc dvd. I found it extremely interesting as being an ex dancer it bought back wonderful memories even including the very long hours rehearsing and the hard work it entailed. It was interesting to hear about the chosen dancers and musicians and their background. I appreciate it is not everyone's 'cup of tea' but I thoroughly enjoyed every minute. At the same time it was very poignant to think that all their hard work never got the chance to come to fruition and that MJ died very soon afterwards.

Being a ticket holder to the show that never was, I sent for my Blu-ray copy mainly to get a glimpse of what I would've seen and heard at the O2 in London in July 2009 had Michael Jackson not tragically died just three weeks earlier.

Without any doubt whatsoever, this show would have had the best production of all time. The rehearsals in this dvd alone are enough to completely mesmerise. Michael Jackson looking great painstakingly goes through the show song by song like the true professional that he was. Every tiny detail is highlighted and supervised by Michael and all the songs you'd want to hear are rehearsed, including some Jackson 5 hits. The production-in-making videos of Smooth Criminal and Thriller are stunning.

There are moments of exhiliration and frustration for Michael and the people involved as they go through the extensive set list. And there are many many musicians, dancers, technicians, choreographers, designers and directors - all giving their maximum to make the show a success.

Though I felt he was a little withdrawn and holding back in his singing and dance routines, Michael Jackson still came across as the overtly talented and hard working artist we all know. This show would've been the best ever staged by anyone. He was setting new standards when he was tragically and prematurely taken away - and the world of music and entertainment is suffering as a result.

This is unmissable. If you're going for the Blu-ray, I can guarantee you're in for a special treat !

We watched this film on Blu-Ray with vague interest at first because neither I nor my partner are huge MJ fans BUT ...
This is truly amazing. The scenes of Mr Jackson rehearsing show that he genuinely was a superb entertainer, technician and craftsman.
His dancing is exemplary, even compared to his backing dancers who are 30 years younger. His singing is spot on, especially when
he gets carried away and uses the full voice that he's trying to save until the real shows. The show itself would have been
staggeringly good. They were NOT cashing in as I expected, it would have been the show of the decade, one of the best ever in terms
of spectacle and performance. A lot of time, energy and finance had gone into the production and I can only imagine how sad and
disappointed those who were involved must feel at not being able to do it for real let alone losing their mentor.
Really, ths is seriously good. For anyone with an interest in dance, popular music or stage production this is a must. If you
like the music and performance of Michael Jackson then it is essential. The man went out on a true high.
