The Amazon listing for the special features did not specify that some of the special features are exclusive to the 4K Ultra HD (Namely the ones that were most attractive about this edition: never before seen deleted and alternate scenes, and screen tests for Sarah). I do not have a player for 4K Ultra HD and can't view them.

Completely disappointed that they would lock special features on one format, and that the Amazon listing didn't disclose this.

This is a review of the Labyrinth 35th Anniversary 4K Ultra HD set. On the 4K disc the video itself looks just amazing. Wonderful picture as good as it looked in the theater at release. And the sound is excellent on every English audio mix (I don't speak a foreign language, so didn't test that audio). My problem is that whenever I turn on my soundbar, the audio is out of sync. Out of hundreds of discs I have watched, including the included Labyrinth regular Blu ray version in this set which contains most of the extras, I have no sync problem. I bought and returned two copies to Best Buy and then tried getting a copy here on Amazon, hoping for a different production batch. Same problem.

Sony has been completely unhelpful past determining, as I already knew, that my equipment (the soundbar in question is a high-end Sony HT-ST5000) is fine and it is the disc that is flawed. This is a great movie and I want this 4K release in my collection. But try and contact Sony about flawed media. GOOD LUCK! I have never had so much run around trying to just contact somebody for an exchange of a badly produced disc ever. I own literally thousands of discs and I have exchanged quite a few over the years. Some companies are annoying, and are difficult (20th Century sucked and refused to stand behind a badly manufactured, expensive box set. I'm not sure if they improved now that they are Disney, but nonetheless as of then I don't buy 20th Century's products now). After a lot of run around I might have an email address that will work, but I'll have to wait for a reply before I know. I will come back here and update the results as I get any (or if I don't as the case may be).

Update: Five days and no reply yet, so I just sent another email. If I don't have a reply in the next two days, It's back to phone attempts and then possibly a disappointing return of the set to Amazon.

Update #2: After two weeks and multiple emails, Sony is ignoring me completely. I am going to give this one more try through their crappy online support because I really want this edition, but I'm less than impressed with Sony's customer service these days.

Last update: After a total lack of replies from Sony, I returned the set to Amazon. I'm sad to not have this edition in my video library, but I want things that work correctly and Sony USA's customer service seems to have gone to hell. It's a pity because everything else about the set was fantastic, especially the alternate and deleted scenes.

For some reason i am getting a disc playback error with the 36th anniversary disc. cleaned the disc which had nothing wrong on surface that is detectable. i also have the 30th anniversary 4k disc which plays fine. Disappointing. I am using a Panasonic ub820

Good movie about watching what you wish for.The main protagonist has a wonderful spoken and dramatic entrance onto screen.Great scenery and background work.Soundtrack features performed music live in film.Goes over well with storytelling and plot.
