Looks good at first but can't do the basics

The Good
Really like what the company Fjallraven stand for, Its relatively roomy to layer but its usually fine in British weather so you can wearing for longer between seasons, but cut to make it less bulky, I wanted a well made jacket with plenty of pockets so I don't have to carry a bag with me for bits and bobs, it has 8 good sized pockets, material was a bit thin would have preferred the thicker type of G1000 fabric for this price. Its not water proof for sure so it will get heavy after its clogged with water but it does dry quickly. Nice hood but not necessary good looking.

The Bad
The Velcro cuffs when adjusting to size creates a fold causing it to dig into the wrists which I suppose overtime the fabric will break in but from new it does chafe
When you're wearing the hood it all good but when you have it down and zipped up high to prevent wind from entering there is no real chin guard and its tight on to the chin which also causes chaffing and very uncomfortable, because its so tight I doubt it will break in, there is also a button that closes the baffle/ zip on the chin, but that button is very difficult to do up when pressing on to the face it probably leave a mark also

The Ugly
Most of my coats are dual front zips that is when zipped up there is another zip at the bottom you can unzip that creates space to sit down or when nature calls, for my instance when I noticed it didn't work was accessing the 2 big mesh pockets, I really looked stupid in front of people trying to pull up a zipper to access the bottom mesh pockets but it was jammed moving only a few inches so pulled it back down then up etc I looked like a child trying to do up my coat it was ridiculous I thought the zippers got caught on the baffles but when I took it home to inspect it closely there was no catching, the only thing it could be is the zipper being too close to the seams on the inside baffle which is derailing the bottom zipper but the top zipper is perfectly fine I will let company take a look at that.

With the name and price of this coat, I'm shocked that they can't do the basics QC I thought it was just my coat that was defective so ordered a replacement and the same problem existed I don't know if it was a faulty batch or a design flaw, but have to say quite disappointed refunding the coats. I'm sure other Fjallraven products are good as there are many good reviews about them but for people who have purchased this coat I strongly suggest they should test out the main zippers first

The zipper is extremely not smooth, and have already broken. Because each time when I wearing the cloth, the zipper always stocked. However, I cannot return it back, because the fault is made my self . The result of the stocked. zipper forces me to use larger force in order to close the cloth .

Eine sehr gute Jacke für die Übergangszeit gedacht. Beachten ist man sollte diese Jacke nicht über 3-5° tragen ansonsten wird es sehr warm unter der Jacke. Optimal Ist es die Jacke ab 3° und weiter nach unten zu tragen. Also Im Minusbetrag optimal zu tragen. Natürlich wenn es noch kälter ist ab -10 geht es auch noch ab -20 sollte man eventuell eine andere Jacke nehmen. Diese gibt es natürlich auch von diesem Hersteller. Es ist eine sehr gute Qualität und Verarbeitung. Dann kann ich diese Jacke nur weiter empfehlen. Halt das hält was sie verspricht. Wir haben von dem Hersteller noch eine Jacke die bis -20 geht die ist jetzt schon seit über fünf Jahren im Einsatz ohne Probleme.

It is very well built. Fits perfectly without looking like I am going into an artic expedition, very casual. The zipper is a gets stuck, it takes some time to get used to it. The black version gets this white fibres (coming from the insulation I guess) that permeate to the surface and are visible against the black canvas.

I go it for the G1000 durability and natural water resistance. Works great in light to moderate rain. Overall a good everyday autumn/winter/spring jacket. I just wish there was some more attention to the zipper and finish. 3/5 because it is so pricey and I would expect a flawless jacket in this price range.

Well lined coat. Exterior is rugged and fairly water resistant, haven't tried the green wax yet.
Lots of convenient pockets for phone, safnav etc.

Zip is sometimes hard to close. It takes a bit of getting used to.

I'm generally quite happy with my purchase.

Hallo,

nach knapp zwei Wochen (maximal 10 Stunden getragen),ist die Jacke eher Weiß.

Pro:
-Passform (sitzt perfekt 1,78 84 Kilo)

Contra:
-Verarbeitung (Nähte lösen sich auf,Füllmaterial auf der Oberfläche)
-Für unter -2 Grad nicht geeignet (wird aber auch als leichte Winterjacke deklariert)
-Bei einem Preis von mehr als 300 Euro nicht akzeptabel
