The New York Times best-selling author of The God Code and Resilience from the Heart
Are the miracles that we see in the quantum world actually showing us our greatest possibilities rather than our scientific limits? Could the spontaneous healing of disease, an instant connection with everyone and everything, and even time travel, be our true heritage in the universe?
There is a place where all things begin, the place of pure energy that simply “is.” In this quantum incubator for reality, everything is possible. In 1944, Max Planck, the father of quantum theory, shocked the world by saying that this “matrix” is where the birth of stars, the DNA of life, and everything between originates. Recent discoveries reveal dramatic evidence that Planck’s matrix—The Divine Matrix—is real. It is this missing link in our understanding that provides the container for the universe, the bridge between our imagination and our reality, and the mirror in our world for what we create in our beliefs.
To unleash the power of this matrix in our lives, we must understand how it works and speak the language that it recognizes. For more than 30 years, Gregg Braden, a former senior aerospace computer systems designer, has searched for the understanding to do just that. From the remote monasteries of Egypt, Peru, and Tibet to the forgotten texts that were edited by the early Christian church, the secret of the Divine Matrix was left in the coded language of our most cherished traditions. It is verified in today’s science.
In this paradigm-shattering book, Gregg shares what he’s found. Through 20 keys ofconscious creation, we’re shown how to translate the miracles of our imagination into what is real in our lives. With easy-to-understand science and real-life stories, Gregg shows us that we’re limited only by our beliefs, and what we once believed is about to change!

However, 'The Divine Matrix' manages to be both alluring and bewildering. The book starts well enough and I decided to read a chapter a day and found his writing to be both fascinating and easy to follow - the main theory is that 'The Divine Matrix' is a form of energy that connects everything to everything else and the book uses about four of it's eight chapters to prove his own theory, with largely positive results.
Around Chapter 5, the direction of the book seems to falter as the writing seems to wander of the main subject and instead Mr. Braden starts exploring 'relationships', which seems to have little of no connection to the previous writings of the book. This sudden switch is never explained but made me forget the aspect of Quantum Physics which proceeded it and I thought had been very interesting.
The overall result, is a book that does not wholly work, but has two very strong and interesting thirds. Gregg is not a boring writer, even when he's writing about 'relationships', he never becomes mundane. This just seems to be a somewhat bewildering and puzzling book that would have been brilliant, if he had kept to the main subject.
As a result, this simply becomes a 'lesser' piece of work, sadly. Maybe he simply was distracted.
That was a mistake though, because the book contains serious science and a series of compelling arguments about the nature of reality (insofar as there is one) which deserve a wider audience. It's well written and largely resists wilder speculations. Its essential argument - that reality is malleable and that it is affected by our emotions - is convincing, and also explains why so much "positive thinking" fails to work in practice.
A very rich book, and difficult to summarize, but well worth an investment.
